HOW IT BEGAN ...

A young lady while dining at a top-notch Indian restaurant in Mumbai, half-way through her meal said to herself 'This doesn't taste great or authentic Indian. It would be nice if everyone else wanting to try out Indian food gets a chance to experience the diversity of Indian cuisine and the flavours of the spices in a pure simple way'.  She came back to Hong Kong and joined hands with two friends known for their culinary skills and superb palettes. Thus,  'Curry Bay', a vision by a trained chef, an artist and an ex-banker came into reality. 

We are Rashmi, Deepali, Ina and 'Curry Bay' is our Contemporary Indian Private Kitchen based in Hong Kong.  

Why did we choose the name 'Curry Bay'?  Well, 'Curry' because flavourful curries are associated with Indian food (and incidentally we like to use a lot of Curry Leaf in our cooking!).   'Bay' symbolises Pan Indian flavours being engulfed.
